The Highwood Pass is one of the most iconic rides to do in the Calgary area.

This gate-to-gate ride will challenge the best of cyclists with a long gradual climb on the way out, steep descent that you then need to climb out of on the way back, and rolling net downhill for the last 35 km. Since this is an out and back ride, there is the option to turn back at the 35km mark on the way out to avoid the steep climb if the legs aren’t feeling it.
