STRATHMORE STAMPEDE GROUNDS
STRATHMORE STAMPEDE GROUNDS
Our Host Venue is once again the Strathmore Stampede Grounds where you can find the start and finish line, self-camping and all the fun festivities. Participants can look forward to a revised layout, improved stage and sound placement, increased shaded areas and misting stations.
Each day you will have the choice of route: Short (~65KM), Long (~100KM) and Saturday only a NEW Challenge distance (~150KM) for advanced cyclists only. Routes will change each day so you can do more exploring. Please note, these routes are subject to change and will be updated on Strava as we near the event.
Bike drop-off is available on Friday afternoon starting at 1pm. And we have secured bike storage for Friday and Saturday night. Make sure you attach your bike plates before you drop your bike off.
Self-camping is available on-site at the Strathmore Stampede Grounds, so bring your tent or trailer! Camping is available on both July 19th and 20th with shower and washroom facilities available, but there are no hook-ups or dumping stations. Food and drink will not be provided on July 19th.
If you are using a trailer, it must be registered via the Online Check-In process. It can be dropped off between 1-7pm on July 19th or before 7am on July 20th and removed on July 21 after 4pm. We’ll follow-up soon to help with self-camping arrangements.
Please note, if you are camping at the Strathmore Campground (separate from the North 40 event camp site), you DO NOT need to register your tent, trailer or RV on our OCI.
Our beloved Saturday Evening Festival will be at the Strathmore Stampede Grounds with great food, drinks, and entertainment. We also have our celebratory BBQ Sunday afternoon at the finish line.
Additional meals for Saturday night and Sunday BBQ are available for purchase ($20 each) until July 9th at the Tour office or via phone (403-993-9172).
We look forward to providing an elevated experience for riders with improved meal offerings, new and returning musical guests and exciting entertainment elements.
